Quamar Zaman: Chief Executive

Quamar is Chief Executive of First Enterprise Business Agency which supports the business start up and development needs of deprived communities in the East Midlands. He has over 36 years management experience as manager of an international bank and as manager of his own group of companies in travel and tourism.

Quamar also has over 32 years of experience working with deprived communities and with the development of many new regeneration programmes. 

Richard Tyas: Loan Development Manager

Richard has 31 years of financial experience working for National Westminster Bank.

Currently he has day to day involvement with business and the provision of finance to the small business market. Richard brings with him a vast amount of general financial experience which he is able to apply to the practical daily issues facing new and growing businesses.

Richard is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and ACIB qualified. He is a member of the Institute of Business Consulting, a qualified D32/33 assessor via City and Guilds and has Business Link accreditation for business advice.

Fiona Coulson: Loan Development Officer

Fiona has over ten years of direct third sector and government funded project support experience.

Currently she works with the existing First Enterprise Business Agency clients and contracts in direct business support and specialises in environmental issues. Her new role will be to support clients with their applications to the loan fund.

Fiona has a track record of supporting established businesses with a range of issues and in particular small businesses from across the East Midlands where she has a range of solutions and a depth of contacts.  

Mani Johal: Loan Development Officer

Mani has many years of experience, in sales and marketing. He has been working with the agency for nearly a year.

At present Mani covers Leicester & Derby, providing support to clients seeking loans from the agency. He has created a great deal of awareness of the loan fund and has helped many start ups and existing small businesses to expand and grow.

Mani is an Associate of the Institute of Business Consultants.
